Fatty™ Cat Whirl Post

Bought this scratching post so my cat could stop turning my furniture into modern art. The hanging ball is now her sworn nemesis. The wooden ball? Constantly judged. She claws, she leaps, she hosts imaginary talent shows on the base. 20" of pure feline dramaand my couch finally gets a break.

Pay attention to the measurements. Its not to small where an adult cat can't use it. It fits in almost any space. Time will tell how long it lasts. The cat does use it from time to time. She stopped using my cabinets.

My cats love this toy, there are lots of things for them to do. Scratch, play with the dangling toys, or play with the wooden balls in the base. It was extremely easy to assemble but hard to break, my cats havent been able to do any damage. It is a bit short, so the size i got may be better for a small cat or kitten, but my cats still like it a lot

So far my 11 month old, 10 pound, kitten has ignored this scratching post. She did spend a small amount of time pushing the wooden balls around when I first put the post together but other than that she has ignored it. She has several scratch pads made from corrugated cardboard that she will use but not this post. She wasn't even interested in it when I rubbed some catnip on it. I guess she just has a preference for the cardboard mats. The post itself looks fine and there is no odor that I can detect. It does seem to have a narrow base for the height of the post but since my cat hasn't used it she hasn't had a chance to pull it over. The post was easy to construct but take your time some of the pieces look similar but they are not.
